We want to ensure that the younger generation’s voices are heard,” says Seckmeyer.
To the competition
The competition sought concrete and feasible ideas for greater sustainability in the field of transportation and mobility. These could involve both technical and organizational innovations. The award was divided into two prize and age categories. Category I is open to students at all general education schools in the city and region of Hanover; Category II is open to working professionals, students, university staff, and anyone else interested up to the age of 30. Three prizes are awarded in each category. The submission deadline was June 15, 2022. Entries were submitted as written proposals, supplemented by images, posters, and/or videos. In addition to the cash prizes, the winners will have the opportunity to present their ideas to the Climate Council of the Region Hannover. They will also receive a specially designed trophy, which was conceived and created by product design student Sofie Palcik at HsH.
