Syntellix AG was founded in Hannover in 2008 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Utz Claassen. The startup develops magnesium-based implants that are inserted following bone fractures and dissolve within the body. With the help of a network of outstanding scientists, the company succeeded in developing a material (MAGNEZIX®) that, despite its high stability, is completely broken down in the body and replaced by bone tissue.
