Top positions in rankings

From the ZEIT Study Guide to the Center for Higher Education Development to the HIS Study Quality Monitor—for years, the largest nationwide surveys and rankings have awarded the FHDW Hannover top marks. The university consistently ranks among the top institutions, particularly in the areas of academic environment, course offerings, student support, and the integration of theory and practice. In 2023, it was once again named “Germany’s Most Popular University” by the nationwide review portal StudyCheck.de.

High standards

The quality and standards of the course are high. The Bachelor's degree therefore also comprises 210 credit points instead of the usual 180. Among other things, it therefore offers the ideal prerequisites for successfully completing a Master's degree and, thanks to the high number of credit points, opens up access to a wide range of degree courses.

Many company scholarships

The FHDW Hannover’s excellent reputation is prompting more and more companies to partner with the university. More than 200 partner companies are currently collaborating with the university—through internships, projects, and scholarships for students. For example, these partnerships may cover the full cost of tuition and/or provide a monthly stipend.
