Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts

60 degree courses in five faculties offer a comprehensive range of courses in a practical environment. In addition to electrical engineering and information technology, mechanical engineering and bioprocess engineering, economics and computer science as well as social welfare, health and social services, HsH offers a wide range of courses in the fields of media, information and design with a high international reputation. 

Intensive practical relevance 

The integration of practical phases into the course enables students to gain professional experience and establish contacts with companies during their time at university. HsH also offers numerous dual and part-time study models. Small study groups, innovative research projects and numerous continuing education courses for different target groups are further features that distinguish HsH. 

Internationality 

Studying "without borders" is a matter of course at HsH. HsH cooperates with around 80 foreign partner universities and attaches great importance to all its members acquiring intercultural skills. Students can easily integrate a semester abroad or an academic year with an international degree into their studies.

Social opening 

A particular focus of the HsH is on issues of social openness. Measures in the areas of accessibility, family friendliness and gender equality, among others, contribute to valuing diversity and successfully completing a degree.
