This is largely thanks to the more than 46,300 employees currently working at dm locations across Germany. More than 500 of them work in 27 dm stores in the Region Hannover. Currently, around 3,400 people are completing an apprenticeship at dm. The retail sector offers excellent training opportunities and great prospects for career development. For example, young people can choose from ten apprenticeship programs and seven dual degree programs. The options range from the traditional apprenticeship as a pharmacy technician to the dual degree program in Business Administration with a focus on retail, as well as qualifications in IT and logistics.
