Hanover is home to several local radio stations.

There are several local radio stations in Hanover.

RADIO 21 According to the station itself, it has been the first and only alternative to mainstream radio in the north since its launch in May 2000. "The best rock 'n' pop!"—for a musically discerning audience aged 30 and up. On RADIO 21, anything goes musically—just like an iPod on shuffle mode: No two days sound the same—guaranteed!

"Antenne Niedersachsen: More current hits! More variety! Lower Saxony's best mix of music," says the station about itself. Listen to the current program live online. Or choose from the 90s, Charts, Rock, Relax, Oldies, or 80s streams.

Radio FFN went on the air on New Year’s Eve 1986. For the first ten years, the team broadcast from an idyllic villa in Isernhagen. Located in the heart of the state capital and closer to daily social, political, and media events, ffn has been broadcasting since December 1996 from the ffn broadcasting center in the Hannover Media Center to all of Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Bremen, and parts of the neighboring federal states.

At Radio Hannover, the name says it all: The station broadcasts exclusively for the state capital and the Hannover region.
