But that’s not all: innovative magazine formats like *Spiegel* and *Stern* were founded here; state-of-the-art TV broadcasting systems are based here; cutting-edge headphones and microphones are developed here; and Hannover boasts a vibrant theater scene. Germany’s only clown school and its largest opera house are also located in Hannover. The list goes on and on.
The Region Hannover has clearly always been a fertile ground for creativity. However, until now, it has not really been associated with these innovations and creative developments. Their economic significance for the region has also often been underestimated.
