Arvato
The Region Hannover is one of the most important, dynamic, and employment-intensive logistics hubs in Germany.
Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bertelsmann. Approximately 2,750 people work for Arvato in the Region Hannover.
As a global service provider headquartered in Gütersloh, Arvato offers services such as B2B and B2C logistics and transportation management, online store development, loyalty programs, customer service, and financial services for brand companies.
In the Region Hannover, Arvato operates two e-commerce sites and two highly automated logistics centers for online retail in the fashion industry. Approximately 2,750 people work for Arvato in the region.
In 2016, Arvato built a distribution center at the Hannover Exhibition Center at a cost of approximately €50 million. The 50,000-square-meter facility offers approximately 350,000 storage spaces. From here, fashion items are shipped to end customers in 25 countries, and returns are processed. International customer service is also integrated into the building.
In 2022, Arvato opened a new logistics center for Rituals Cosmetics at the Hannover-Messe site. This facility handles online orders for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Poland. At the heart of the new distribution center is a high-performance AutoStore warehouse system, designed to ensure fast and efficient order processing.
