DB Schenker, a major player in the industry, also has a presence in Hannover. With several branches, this subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG plays a key role in shaping Hannover as a logistics hub.

Within the Deutsche Bahn Group, DB Schenker is responsible for the logistics and transport services division. With a clear B2B focus, the logistics provider concentrates primarily on business customers and on domestic and international land transport, as well as air and sea freight.

While the branch in Stöcken on the Mittellandkanal connects sea freight with road and rail transport, the branches in Langenhagen benefit from their proximity to the airport and the highway. But the logistics provider is also active in the southern part of Hannover. In Hannover-Mittelfeld, DB Schenker Messelogistik focuses on the international exhibition business.
