The idea behind the concept is to give as many people as possible access to an infrastructure that allows them to do exciting things. “The days when a company needed its own office are over,” the project’s creators are certain. “In recent years, we’ve seen how coworking has gone from a trend to an everyday reality for knowledge workers. Our theory is that makerspaces will now bring about the same shift for the manufacturing trades,” say the project’s founders. Another key part of the concept is participation and creation.
