Großer Garten
Electoress Sophie of Hanover had the Großer Garten laid out at the end of the 17th century based on French models—today, around half a million visitors a year enjoy the charm of this Baroque garden. At the Berggarten, you can explore a 300-year-old botanical garden featuring around 12,000 different plant species. The newest attraction is the Museum Schloss Herrenhausen, which invites you to discover the diversity of the Baroque palace and garden world of Herrenhausen.
