Take a leisurely stroll through one of Europe’s best-preserved Baroque gardens—the Great Garden—with its history spanning over 300 years. Be inspired by the intricate patterns of boxwood, marble gravel, and colorful flower beds. A special attraction is the grotto, decorated with colorful mosaics by the artist Niki de Saint Phalle. The Berggarten is no less worth seeing. As a botanical garden, it is known for its unique collection of plants from all over the world. Among other things, up to 800 blooming orchids can always be admired in its greenhouses.
