Our guided tours also take place in rain/snow. Please plan accordingly when choosing your clothes. In the event of bad weather and a possible cancellation, we will inform you on site.
Are the tours barrier-free?
We offer a wide range of guided tours for wheelchair users, the hearing impaired, the blind, and the visually impaired. Accompanied by experienced tour guides, you’ll learn many fascinating and interesting facts about the city’s history. If you have any questions about the accessibility of specific tours, we’re happy to assist you by phone, email, or in person.

What is the maximum group size for guided tours?
If there are 26 or more participants on a city tour, the tour is divided into two groups.
Until when can I cancel a booked city tour or day package?
Cancellations (in writing) of the city tour are free of charge up to 14 days in advance.
From the 13th to the 8th day prior to the tour, we generally charge a cancellation fee of 15 euros;
from the 7th to the 3rd business day prior to the tour, the fee is 30 euros.
From the 2nd to the 1st business day before the tour begins, we charge a cancellation fee of 75% of the agreed-upon price.
If you cancel on the day of the tour or fail to show up, we will charge you the full amount.
Where can I park my bus?
1. Central Bus Station* (behind the main train station), Raschplatz, paid parking, approx. 5 bus parking spaces
2. New City Hall, Platz der Menschenrechte 1, stopping to pick up and drop off passengers permitted; parking only on Willy-Brandt-Allee across from the State Museum (5 bus parking spaces)
3. Schützenplatz/Waterloostr.**, approx. 100 bus parking spaces (except during events at Schützenplatz)
4. HDI Arena/Sportpark**, parking spaces along Ferdinand-Wilhelm-Fricke-Weg
5. Parking lot at the NDR Broadcasting House and on Rudolf-von-Bennigsen-Ufer, approx. 5 bus parking spaces
6. Parking lot at the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen**, Herrenhäuser Str., approx. 20 bus parking spaces
7. Parking spaces at the Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC), Theodor-Heuss-Platz 1–3**, approx. 12 bus parking spaces (also for zoo visitor groups, see below)
8. Bus terminal at the hanover adventure zoo, Adenauerallee***
9. Parking lot at the Fairground/Messeschnellweg (B 6), at least 200 bus parking spaces
10. Airport/Flughafenstraße at Terminal C, approx. 6 bus parking spaces*
