2023 German Choir Competition

We look forward to welcoming you and your choir to Hanover for the German Choral Competition.

The German Choir Competition

The German Choir Competition (DCW) offers amateur choirs the opportunity to measure their skills against one another, but is also characterized by the spirit of fellowship among the choirs. Other goals of the project include the professional development of talented choir directors, documenting the performance capabilities of choirs in the Federal Republic of Germany, and encouraging engagement with contemporary choral music. International jurors and experts facilitate the exchange of experiences on an international level.

You can already find all the information about the program and how to participate on the event website https://www.musikrat.de/dcw/wettbewerb
