Two strong partners, one successful service for private accommodations

Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH will work hand in hand with the international service provider Bookiply

Enhanced service and performance for Hannover’s private room hosts (known as “trade fair moms”):
Hannover Marketing und Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) plans to partner with a new provider of private accommodation services in the future: the international marketing and service platform Bookiply.

“Starting January 1, 2024, we will be realigning our business by digitizing our private lodging service, which will involve partnering with Bookiply. Especially during trade shows, this will be a necessary addition to our overnight lodging services, allowing us to capitalize on the added business value in the greater Hannover area,” says HMTG Managing Director Hans Nolte.

With its comprehensive solutions, our new partner Bookiply will help with online marketing, thereby increasing occupancy rates for private room bookings. More than 20,000 hosts are already benefiting from personalized service, ease of use, and the expertise of tourism professionals in managing their accommodations.

In Hanover, accommodation in private homes—especially for trade show (Messe) and conference attendees—provided by private hosts has a long and proud tradition. For Hans Nolte, adding a digital option that these hosts can use is a highly welcome enhancement to his product portfolio for room bookings: “Greater coverage, better capacity utilization, and affordable accommodations during peak times—having Bookiply on board will prepare private room hosts for the future while bringing room rentals up to international standards.”

This partnership between HMTG and Bookiply will take effect at the end of the 2023 fiscal year. Under agreements governing housing services, social housing will remain ineligible for such temporary rental arrangements. This rule is intended, in part, to ensure that sufficient social housing is available in Hannover even during trade shows and other major events.
