Our Eilenriede recreational area, covering 640 hectares, is the largest urban forest in Europe.
The Eilenriede shapes the cityscape as a green lung and a unique natural space within the urban environment. Extensive trails, old groves of trees, and quiet clearings invite visitors to take a walk, go for a jog, or simply unwind.
