Sahlkamp district farm

A farm right in the middle of the city? Hannover has one! Feed sheep, groom ponies, herd goats. Since 1999, children have been able to learn a lot about interacting with animals at the Sahlkamp neighborhood farm. By caring for the animals, they take on responsibility and are supported in their social development. Anyone who’s interested can also let their creativity run wild while designing the garden or in the 35-square-meter bakehouse.
