Steinhuder Meer Adventure Park

Right on the shores of Lake Steinhude, one of Germany’s most beautiful forest rope courses awaits you, offering exciting climbing and adventure activities for the whole family. The rope course features 27 climbing stations across three difficulty levels—there’s something for everyone. For young and old, for “rope course newbies” or seasoned veterans. With proper safety equipment, you can push your limits at dizzying heights!

The different areas of the ropes course:

• easy: 6 elements incl. 50m rope slide, where beginners can gain their first climbing experience
• medium: 9 elements with flying cage and abseiling station for the adventurous
• difficult: 8 elements incl. 2 rope slides, which require a lot of courage and body control
• Team area: 4 elements specially designed for team training

Before climbing, you will receive professional equipment (helmet, complete climbing harness, via ferrata set) and a detailed briefing from the guides. You are constantly secured while climbing. The guides keep a constant eye on you, are always available for you and will abseil you down if you are unable to continue. The ropes course and all the climbing equipment are regularly inspected by specially trained staff.

Note: The ropes course has been certified by an ERCA specialist. The ropes course therefore complies with the latest safety technology and the new standards (DIN EN 15567-1 and -2) for high ropes courses.
