The latest trend in water sports: stand-up paddleboarding in the Hanover region.
"Stand-Up Paddling" (SUP) – literally, paddling while standing – is a full-body workout that’s a lot of fun. Just hop on the board and off you go. For example, on the Ihme or the Leine. Stand-Up Paddling is suitable for anyone who enjoys being in the water and can swim safely, and it’s incredibly easy to learn. It’s a great full-body workout that exercises your arms, legs, and core all at once, while also improving your balance.
But stand-up paddleboarding isn’t the only way to have fun in the Hanover region—there are plenty of other ways to enjoy yourself on, in, or by the water, such as kitesurfing on Lake Steinhude or wakeboarding on Lake Blauer See.
