Get to the Deister quickly and comfortably by public transport: Travel options using public transport.

The Deisterkreisel roundabout is served by the S-Bahn stations Lemmie, Wennigsen, Egestorf, Kirchdorf, Barsinghausen, Winninghausen, Bantorf, Bad Nenndorf, Bad Münder, Springe, Völksen-Eldagsen, Bennigsen, and Holtensen-Linderte. This gives cyclists a wide range of options for customizing their tour as they wish and for selecting and combining sections of the loop.

On weekdays, the S1/S2 line runs every half hour from Hannover and Haste to Wennigsen, Barsinghausen, and Bad Nenndorf.

The S5 provides service to Bad Münder and Springe every half hour from Hannover and Hamelin/Bad Pyrmont, respectively.

Regular bus service connects the towns of Rodenberg and Lauenau with Haste and Bad Nenndorf.

Bicycles can be transported free of charge on the GVH network all day on weekends and holidays, and on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
