Air, water, fire, earth: Four elements to see, hear, feel, taste, and smell continue to offer a sensory feast and exciting experiences at the Park der Sinne in Laatzen, even after the Expo.

The Main Theme
Water, as a life-giving element, repeatedly springs forth and flows, serving as a recurring theme throughout the park.
The Valley of Butterflies
The Valley of Butterflies is located roughly in the center of the park.
Lush perennials climb up the valley’s gentle slopes, bordered by shrub roses and a variety of flowering shrubs. A paradise-like habitat for butterflies, bees, bumblebees, and other insects.
The Garden of Fragrances
The Garden of Fragrances lies in a semicircle on the warm, sunny southwest slope of the viewing hill. In May and June, 15,000 wild roses along the embankment fill the air with their scents. In the dry-stone walled beds, a wide variety of perennials and dwarf shrubs exude their spicy, sweet, or fruity scents.
