The nature park information centers in Steinhude and the Lake Steinhuder Meer Ecological Conservation Station (ÖSSM) in Winzlar have put together a variety of activities for you to enjoy. Discover the local flora and fauna on expert-guided themed hikes through the moor or the lake marsh.

If you’re interested in learning more about the natural environment of your Holiday Region, be sure to plan a visit to the Ecological Research Station in Winzlar. In addition to interesting exhibits, you’ll receive expert guidance from the station’s scientists. They regularly monitor changes in the local flora and fauna to develop measures for the conservation and sustainable protection of nature.
