The Nature Park Information Centers in Steinhude and the Steinhuder Meer Ecological Conservation Station (ÖSSM) in Winzlar have put together a variety of activities for you to enjoy. Discover the flora and fauna on expert-led themed hikes through the moor or the Meerbruch.

If you’d like to explore the natural environment of your vacation destination in depth, be sure to plan a visit to the Ecological Research Station in Winzlar. In addition to interesting exhibits, you’ll receive expert information from the station’s scientists. They regularly monitor changes in the flora and fauna to develop measures for the conservation and sustainable protection of nature based on their findings.
