St. Georg Burgdorf Riding and Driving Club, Inc.

The RuFV St. Georg riding facility is located between Aue and Schützenplatz, right in the heart of Burgdorf. Sports enthusiasts, competitive riders, and passionate recreational riders all feel at home here as private boarders. The stable features 12 outdoor stalls and 6 large indoor stalls. The 20x40-meter indoor arena, a 20x60-meter dressage arena, and the approximately 40x80-meter sand jumping arena offer the very best training conditions, which are also welcome for use by external riders. Six sand paddocks provide additional space for the horses’ daily exercise.

Since 2021, the traditional annual dressage and show jumping tournament has been held exclusively on these sand arenas. With a WBO tournament for all aspiring young riders and an LPO tournament up to Class M, the focus is primarily on amateur competition, giving young riders the opportunity to gain their first tournament experience. A promenade featuring a barbecue stand, crêpes, ice cream, and various exhibitors, along with top-notch equestrian sports for all ages, awaits visitors at the RuFV St. Georgs tournaments in Burgdorf.
