Münkel Farm

The Münkel Farm features a training area of approximately 60 hectares, an indoor riding arena, a dressage arena, a sand jumping arena, and a 700-meter race track. The farm specializes in training eventing riders and horses and offers perfect training opportunities for riders of all skill levels—from beginners to professionals. The grounds are available for use by any interested rider for a fee. In February 1989, the “Association for the Promotion of Eventing” was founded, which was later renamed the “Eventing Riding Association.” Every year, the association organizes at least one competition. The cross-country courses wind around Hof Münkel and the “Schwarzer Berg” on the wonderfully springy and hoof-friendly heathland. Every fall, the club hosts an international eventing tournament. In recent years, around 100 riders from eleven countries have competed. In addition to the sporting highlights in dressage, cross-country, and show jumping, the audience is treated to a colorful supporting program.
