Kananohe Riding and Polocrosse Club, Inc.

Polocrosse originated in Australia, where the sport was developed in the late 1930s. It is now gaining recognition as a serious equestrian sport in an increasing number of countries. Polocrosse is a combination of polo and lacrosse: The goal is to pick up the ball with a stick that has a net attached to its end, pass it back and forth, and ultimately score a goal in the opponent’s net. Each team consists of six riders, with three from each team competing against one another. The members of the Kananohe Riding
and Polocrosse Club (Kananohe e.V.) have been training regularly for about three years at the Breschke Farm in Kananohe, a district of Langenhagen. With well-trained horses, qualified instruction, and active tournament participation, the club is now championing this dynamic team sport on horseback in Germany.
