Niemeyer Campground, Lake Steinhuder Meer

The sites for tents, trailers, and RVs are located in a quiet and sunny spot, about 400 meters from Lake Steinhuder Meer. The campground has two restroom buildings with individual wash and shower stalls and separate toilets, as well as a kitchen area with a washing machine and dryer. At the on-site kiosk, guests will find a variety of groceries, drugstore items, and beverages. About 2 km away, you’ll find additional shopping options, a bank, a bakery, and a farm shop with a farm café. Along the long lakeside promenade, there are various restaurants, kiosks, and snack bars. The surrounding area offers many recreational activities and attractions, such as a surfing and sailing school, boat rentals, the butterfly farm in Steinhude, and the dinosaur park in Münchehagen.
