Camping site north shore Steinhuder Meer

Due to its size, it offers pitches for caravans and motorhomes as well as for small and large tents. The park-like green areas alternate again and again with old trees. Many activities take place regularly during the summer vacations: Bouncy castles at the weekends, a summer party with a DJ and cocktail bar and much more. The two new playgrounds include a beach volleyball court, a soccer pitch and a climbing frame with a large slide.

Around the campground, you can get around on foot or by bike along well-maintained hiking and biking trails, or take a boat across the water—for example, to Wilhelmstein Island. For surfers, kite surfers, and sailors, the Steinhuder Meer offers a paradise-like setting. But you can also get around easily by paddleboat or pedal boat. The Icelandic horse farm in Mardorf and the public golf course are also located right near the campground. The path to the wide swimming beach leads through a pine forest and is about 150 meters away.
