Nordufer Lake Steinhuder Meer Campground

Thanks to its size, it offers sites for both caravans and RVs, as well as for small and large tents. The park-like green spaces are interspersed with mature trees. During the summer break, there are many regular activities: bouncy castles on the weekends, a summer festival with a DJ and cocktail bar, and much more. The two newly built playgrounds feature, among other things, a beach volleyball court, a soccer field, and a climbing frame with a large slide.

Around the campground, you can explore on foot or by bike along well-maintained hiking and biking trails, or take a boat across the water—for example, to Wilhelmstein Island. For surfers, kite surfers, and sailors, Lake Steinhuder Meer offers a paradise-like setting. But you can also get around easily by paddleboat or pedal boat. The Icelandic horse farm in Mardorf and the public golf course are also located in the immediate vicinity of the campground. The path to the wide swimming beach leads through a pine forest and is about 150 meters away.
