Mardorf RV Park

Since March 2007, there has been a RV park on the north side of Lake Steinhude. The RV park, with approximately 60 sites, is located on the north side of Lake Steinhude in Mardorf. You can really feel the lake, since it’s only 250 meters away. You can’t see the lake because the park is surrounded by tall, old-growth forest. It’s 1 km to the town center, which offers good shopping options. There are 14 spaces measuring 47 square meters each, 39 measuring 50 square meters each, 10 measuring 72 square meters each, and 7 larger spaces measuring 85 square meters each. The parking areas consist of grass with a surface that’s always drivable. Of course, as a newly developed campground, it offers every modern amenity—such as utility stations with fresh water access and separate electrical hookups for each site. The campground is open year-round.
