Since being taken over by a private operator in 2004, the outdoor pool has remained an important and popular gathering place for children, teenagers, families, seniors, the neighboring DLRG, the Calenberger Canoe Club, and all other swimming enthusiasts to enjoy active leisure activities.
Cyclists and hikers will also find it worthwhile to stop for a snack in the bistro’s beer garden, as the outdoor pool is located right along the “Deister-Lake Steinhuder Meer” cycling and hiking trail.
