Burgdorf Horse and Pet Fair

Every third Saturday of the month from April through September, over 10,000 visitors and more than 150 exhibitors from all over northwestern Germany gather at the Pferdemarktplatz on Kleiner Brückendamm.

Horse and Rider Show Presented by the Burgdorfer Pferdeland Association

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the market will feature a unique selection of items, including ponies and horses, as well as poultry, rabbits, hamsters, pet birds, fish, accessories, and much more. There’s also an exciting program of activities for the whole family: a horse show and sales demonstrations of sport horses for all disciplines by the Burgdorfer Pferdeland club, children’s activities by JohnnyB. in the Sparkasse Hannover children’s tent and by Car Wash (Lise-Meitner-Straße 10), face painting by the Women’s and Mothers’ Center, jugglers, historical exhibits (vehicles, etc.), traditional crafts, information booths, a duck race, raffles, hands-on activities, the “Land & Garten” exhibition, and street performers.

For animal welfare reasons, dogs are not allowed on the market grounds.
