Amtspark with Dragon Playground

There's something for everyone here!

The playground is nestled beneath large trees and opens onto a spacious lawn.
The centerpiece of this area is a large play castle made of tree trunks with red branches shaped like a dragon that winds its way around the trees. It’s a great place to climb, shimmy, and balance.
A slide leads down from a small wooden tower with a lookout. You land right next to the water play area, which is located next to a sandbox—ideal for mud-players and canal builders.
There’s a bocce court for adults.

Here's how to get there:
You can reach the playground by bike via the Hannover-Lüneburg long-distance bike trail, the bike path along the L 381, and the local network of bike paths.

Take buses 600, 638, or 650 to the “Großburgwedel-Mitte” stop.

If you're coming by car, it's best to park on Von-Eltz-Straße or Mühlenbruchdamm.

The center of Großburgwedel offers a variety of options for enjoying a snack break and is within a 10–15-minute walk.
