Classical music by candlelight

On November 6, at St. Agatha Church in Leveste, you can enjoy a “BEST OF” selection from ABBA, the Beatles, and the world of classical music, as well as a selection of well-known rock and pop songs, all presented in an atmospheric concert setting.

The talented violinist Paul Darmits — A Violin Prodigy: Paul Darmits

The evening’s highlight is violinist Paul Darmits. This young artist lives and breathes classical music and tours with his violin year-round. With great enthusiasm, emotion, and a modern approach, he blends classical works with well-known melodies from pop, rock, musicals, and films. He has particularly fond memories of Leveste and is therefore very much looking forward to his return performance at St. Agatha Church.

Musically, visitors can look forward to a varied program spanning a wide range of genres. In addition to well-known works by Strauss, Vivaldi, and Verdi, the program will feature global hits by ABBA and the Beatles, great rock classics, and popular melodies from musicals and film scores.

But the evening is by no means meant to be stuffy or exclusively classical: singing along and clapping along are expressly encouraged. One catchy tune follows another. By the flickering candlelight, the result is a concert full of atmosphere, emotion, and musical magic—an evening to unwind, enjoy, and lose yourself in.
