Nestled in the middle of the pedestrian zone, the market invites you to take a leisurely stroll away from the traffic and is easily accessible by bike and car as well as by several bus lines and streetcar line 1.

On an area of around 3,000 square meters, up to 45 stands offer the whole range of fresh produce from fruit, vegetables and flowers to cheese, meat and fish. The variety increases seasonally with additional traders. Small stalls selling special oils, cheese, honey or old tomato varieties, for example, are also represented, as are delicacies and snacks. Flying traders complement the market with sometimes changing non-food items such as household goods and haberdashery, baskets, bags, jewelry and clothing.

Located right next to the market, there are numerous cafés and restaurants where you can meet up with friends or grab a bite to eat after shopping. If you’d like to continue shopping after visiting the market, you’ll find a wide selection of stores in the Ostpassage and the City Center Langenhagen.

If the weekly market cannot take place as usual due to special events—such as the city festival or a holiday—the rescheduled date will be announced here in a timely manner.
