Horse racing has always been regarded as a symbol of excellence, leadership, and tradition. This image is reinforced by the spacious and impressive racetrack in Hannover-Langenhagen. Its unique atmosphere and well-maintained, park-like surroundings ensure the success of every event.

Top athletic performances and promising races draw a wide audience from northern Germany to the "Neue Bult" horse racing track. There, visitors can enjoy an event that blends the glamour of a high-society gala with the atmosphere of a folk festival—where shrimp and bratwurst go hand in hand.

The Garden Lounge

The Garden Lounge, designed at the height of the finish line, provides your guests with a cozy garden atmosphere and up-close contact with the athletes in the middle of the heel ring, where horses and riders as well as winners and losers gather after the races. Feel the breath of the horses and experience the triumphs and tragedies of the participants at close quarters.

Children's program

To ensure that the family outing is also an experience for the children, the young visitors are offered an extensive and varied entertainment program on every official race day, which is free of charge. These include pony rides, face painting and hairdressing, bouncy castle, horse simulator and much more. A pony race is held at regular intervals, in which children and young people up to the age of 17 have to guess the winner. The winners to be drawn will receive attractive prizes.

The last major racetrack built in Germany. The Hannoversche Rennverein e.V. was founded on July 8, 1867, making it the oldest sports club in the capital of Lower Saxony. After moving through the Mecklen-Haide, the Kleine Bult (located in what is now the city park), and the Große Bult in Hannover’s Südstadt district, the club found its home in 1973 at what is now the Neue Bult in Langenhagen. The “Neue Bult” horse racing track remains the last major racetrack to have been built in Germany.
