Exciting competitions are on offer at the Neue Bult

Top sporting performances and exciting races in an impressive setting.

Exclusivity, family celebration and top sporting performance

Horse racing has always been regarded as a symbol of excellence, leadership, and tradition. This image is reinforced by the spacious and impressive racetrack in Hannover-Langenhagen. Its unique atmosphere and well-maintained, park-like surroundings ensure the success of every event.

Top athletic performances and promising races draw a wide audience from northern Germany to the "Neue Bult" racetrack. There, visitors can enjoy an event that blends the glamour of a high-society gala with the atmosphere of a folk festival, offering everything from shrimp to bratwurst.

The Garden Lounge

The Garden Lounge, designed at the height of the finish line, provides your guests with a cozy garden atmosphere and up-close contact with the athletes in the middle of the heel ring, where horses and riders as well as winners and losers gather after the races. Feel the breath of the horses and experience the triumphs and tragedies of the participants at close quarters.

Children's program

To ensure that the family outing is a memorable experience for the children as well, young visitors are offered a wide-ranging and varied entertainment program on every official race day—free of charge. This includes pony rides, face painting and hair styling for kids, a bouncy castle, a horse simulator, and much more. Pony races are held at regular intervals, and children and teens up to age 17 can enter to predict the winner. Great prizes await the winners selected in the drawing.

The last major racetrack built in Germany The Hannoversche Rennverein e.V. was founded on July 8, 1867, making it the oldest sports club in the capital of Lower Saxony. After moving through the Mecklen-Haide, the Kleine Bult near today’s city park, and the Große Bult in Hannover’s Südstadt, the club found its home in 1973 at today’s Neue Bult in Langenhagen. The “Neue Bult” horse racing track remains the last major racetrack to be built in Germany.
