City park with water tower

Want to relax, take in the sights, or get some exercise? No problem at Langenhagen City Park.

Langenhagen City Park, with its historic water tower, is a central recreational area that combines nature, history, and leisure activities in the Region Hannover. The spacious park offers numerous opportunities for walking, relaxing, or engaging in sports.

City park

A school of cast-iron fish emerges from the lawn, gasping for air. They are part of the “99 Viewpoints” series, created for Expo 2000 and scattered throughout Langenhagen. It was the first project of the Langenhagen Cultural Foundation. The park features fitness equipment, picnic areas, and the old Rohde House. The two-story half-timbered building houses the city archives.

Water tower in the city park

The water tower, built in 1905 and located in City Park, is now used by conservation organizations. Stop by, pick up some information, and learn about the kestrels that nest there.
