City park

A school of cast-iron fish emerges from the lawn, gasping for air. They are part of the “99 Viewpoints” series, created for Expo 2000 and scattered throughout Langenhagen. It was the first project of the Langenhagen Cultural Foundation. The park features fitness equipment, picnic areas, and the old Rohde House. The two-story half-timbered building houses the city archives.

The 1905 water tower in the city park is now used by nature conservation organizations. Just take a look inside, find out more and learn about the nesting kestrels.
