Culture is diversity

At the bauhof, located in the historic district of Hemmingen, cultural events take place in a beautifully restored former farmhouse. Under the motto “Culture is Diversity,” the cultural center has become known beyond Hemmingen and, with about 35 events a year, makes a high-quality cultural contribution to the region.
Since November 2000, the bauhof has served as a venue for high-quality interdisciplinary, contemporary, and classical cultural events. Exciting encounters with artists and culture enthusiasts become memorable experiences in a very intimate atmosphere.

Events
The program offered by the sponsoring association bauhof e.v. Hemmingen includes:
Theater - Comedy - Variety shows - Cabaret - Visual arts exhibitions - Readings - Art excursions - Concerts - Matinees - Charity events - Participation in cultural events in the Hanover
region. Regular events include, for example, the pre-Christmas jazz brunch, as well as various collaborative events, such as those with the Community Foundation and the Hemmingen Music School, as well as other municipal institutions.
