Springe Soccer Museum

Soccer fan and collector Peter Saloga has amassed a large collection of soccer-related items and fan culture memorabilia in Springe.

The Soccer Museum in Springe

The exhibition, which covers nine themes (including local sports, stadiums, and locker rooms), has found ample space in the attic of the Rote Schule in Springe to make the objects from decades of passionate collecting accessible to the general public.

In addition to 271 jerseys, 234 scarves, 860 pennants and 22 flags, the collection also includes more than 500 chronologically sorted folders with press reports on all aspects of soccer and fan culture. Countless audio cassettes contain several hours of recorded match reports that provide a vivid impression of the individual games.

For some time now, the museum has also had two rooms dedicated to the soccer World Cup in Germany, with numerous devotional objects on display.

Changing exhibitions and lectures complement the permanent presentation.
