Onion festival

Uetze will celebrate its traditional Onion Festival on September 5 and 6 at Hindenburgplatz.

The popular Onion Festival has been held since 2003. This Saturday and Sunday, everything revolves around this versatile member of the leek family, which is offered for tasting in a wide variety of forms. Local music groups provide musical entertainment—and the program is rounded out by artists and clubs from the onion capital. There are athletic and dance performances, games and fun for all ages, and plenty of music.
