The Ahlemer Tower is now home to a Buddhist temple.

Ahlem Tower

The Ahlemer Tower was built in 1897 by architect Alfred Sasse in the Heimatstil architectural style and initially served as a restaurant for day-trippers. The building has been a listed historic landmark since 1985, and since 2007 it has served as a Buddhist temple for the Thai community of Wat Dhammavihara.
