Arcades of the New House

The arcades are located in front of the University of Music, Theatre, and Media.

Arcades at Emmichplatz — The arcades are the last remaining parts of the "New House"

The "New House" was built in 1894 by architect Paul Rowald. It served as a concert café and was demolished after World War II to make way for the new building of the University of Music, Theater, and Media. Once the university building was completed, the arcades from the former building were installed in the forecourt.
