Building of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Finance

The ministry is located in the former Provincial Assembly Hall.

Ferdinand Wallbrecht built the Provincial Assembly Hall between 1879 and 1880 in a historicist Renaissance style. Today, the building houses the Ministry of Finance of Lower Saxony. The coats of arms of the regions of the former Province of Hanover are featured in the pediment frieze.
