Building of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Finance

The ministry is located in the former Provincial Assembly Hall.

Ferdinand Wallbrecht designed the Provincial Assembly Hall in a historicist Renaissance style between 1879 and 1880. Today, the building houses the Ministry of Finance of Lower Saxony. The coats of arms of the regions of the former Province of Hannover are featured in the pediment frieze.
