The building also served temporarily as the Lower Saxony state parliament.
House Georg von Cölln
The Georg von Cölln House was built in the early 19th century. Georg von Cölln was a well-known businessman in Hanover. For a long time, the building was used as the “Forum am Markt” by the Lower Saxony State Museum for exhibitions. When the Leineschloss was renovated, the Lower Saxony State Parliament moved into the building from 2014 to 2017. The building is to continue to be used for conferences and meetings.
