The Zieseniss House is located not far from Georgstraße.
House Zieseniss
Architect Georg Stern built the Zieseniss House in the Heimatstil style between 1913 and 1914. The building is considered the second-oldest "commercial building" in Hanover and was constructed for the client, fishmonger Zieseniss. The main façade features a variety of terracotta tiles, some of which are colorfully glazed, depicting mainly edible marine creatures.
