The Kitchen Garden Pavilion was built between 1748 and 1749 by Chief Court Architect Johann Paul Heumann in the Kitchen Garden in Linden, which no longer exists. In 1866, the Kitchen Garden was dismantled, and in 1911, the pavilion was also demolished. It was not until 1913 that it was rebuilt at the Lindener Bergfriedhof. Today, the Kitchen Garden Pavilion serves as a viewing and exhibition space, hosting up to six art exhibitions each year.
