The Edelhof is the only estate complex in Hanover that has been preserved almost entirely intact.
Edelhof Ricklingen Manor
The history of this medieval knight's estate dates back to the 14th century. The noble families von Alten and von der Osten in particular are closely linked to the development of the estate. Still visible today are the manor house, the Edelhof chapel from 1340, and the former village school, which was rebuilt after a fire in 1813.
