The "Nahklang" concert series presented by the Hannover Chamber Music Society features seven concerts this season and will conclude in June 2026 with a summer festival in the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen.

About the "Nahklang" concert series
From October 12, 2025, to June 28, 2026, the concert series will feature renowned ensembles. The artistic director is Markus Becker, who will also perform as a pianist on November 20. The venues will once again be the gallery’s ballroom and the Herrenhausen Orangery.
The series is organized by the City of Hannover and the Kammermusik-Gemeinde e.V.

The concert series features performances by young ensembles, such as the Malion Quartet, the Franz Ensemble, and a concert with the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie.
Season
The season begins on October 12 and concludes on June 27 and 28, 2026, with a summer festival featuring ensembles of award winners who received their training in Hannover. The day will feature a musical journey from the Classical to the Modern eras—complemented by conversations with young artists, a guided tour of the Great Garden, and a panel discussion on the future of chamber music.

With a “Choose Your Own” subscription, you are required to select four concerts. Exchanging your tickets for a different concert date is only possible in exceptional cases. With a season subscription, you can enjoy all the concerts of the season.
The ticket grants admission to the Großer Garten two hours before the event begins.

Tickets are available at all CTS/Eventim ticket offices. When purchasing tickets at CTS/Eventim ticket outlets, additional fees (advance booking fees and system fees) apply. These vary depending on the ticket outlet.
Discounts
: Recipients of social benefits, participants in the BFD, FSJ, FÖJ, and FWD programs, and visitors with a Hannover-Aktiv-Pass receive a 20% discount on the respective ticket price. Proof of eligibility must be presented upon entry without being asked.
School students, college students, and apprentices up to age 30 can purchase discounted tickets at the box office for €10. This applies to all price categories with the exception of Price Category A.
With the AboVorteil (formerly: AboPlus), subscribers to the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung and the Neue Presse receive a 10% instant discount on the regular admission price for up to two tickets per concert at the Haz & NP ticket shops and at the box office.
If a person with a severe disability requires an attendant, the attendant receives a free ticket.
Accessibility | Visitors with Disabilities
Access to the Herrenhausen Gallery and Orangery is largely barrier-free, with the exception of the seats in the grandstands. The Arne Jacobsen Foyer is not barrier-free due to stairs.
Restrooms for visitors with disabilities are located in the entrance area of the east wing of Herrenhausen Palace (for events in the Gallery) and in the Orangery (for events in the Orangery).
At all concerts, seats along the edges have been reserved specifically for wheelchair users. Companions of wheelchair users and individuals with a “B” designation on their severe disability ID card receive a free ticket for events organized by the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen. Tickets for these seats are sold directly through the organizer. If you would like to obtain tickets for wheelchair users and/or companions, please send your ticket request to konzertkarten@hannover-stadt.de.
