Palais Grote

The palace is a major work of the Hanover School of Architecture.

The Grote Palace was built between 1862 and 1864 for Count Adolf von Grote. The palace changed hands several times beginning in 1868, giving it a turbulent history. The palace is considered a masterpiece of residential architecture from that era.
