Four bridges designed by Laves still stand in the Herrenhausen Gardens today. The Friederiken Bridge, built in 1839, spans the Graft in the Großer Garten; the Laves Bridge, built in 1844, is located in the Welfengarten; and the Georgengarten is home to the Augusten Bridge, built in 1840 (see photo), and the iron drawbridge, built in 1837.
