Synagogue in Haeckelstraße

The synagogue was built as part of the Jewish community center on the ground plan of a parabola.

On November 9, 1960, the cornerstone for the synagogue was laid on Haeckelstraße. The synagogue was built according to plans by architect Zvi Guttmann as part of a community center that included a high-rise residential building. The synagogue was dedicated on November 10, 1963.
